The UP's identity on other networks

A Universal Profile's LSP3 profile (name, description, images, links), read on the network you choose and compared with the current one on LUKSO, with the UP's tokens and NFTs. Reading needs no wallet and no signature; only section 6, if you use it, writes the profile with a transaction signed by your controller.

Your Universal Profile exists at the same address on every network where you deployed it. Its identity data sits in the UP's LSP3Profile key: a reference to a JSON file (usually on IPFS) with its hash. This page reads that key on the chosen network and on LUKSO, downloads the file, checks that the hash matches and shows the profile. A deploy on another network copies only the original creation data: there the profile is the one from the day of creation, or missing, and the page tells you.
This is ChainIntegrate's reading of the UP's ERC725Y data, following the LUKSO standards (LSP2, LSP3). Base, Polygon and the other networks do not "know" what a Universal Profile is: no claim that the network, its explorers or other services recognise this profile.
